Modernish figures with swords
« on: August 03, 2023, 06:16:44 PM »
Looking for modern, or at least clothing neutral, figures armed just with swords. Either 28mm or 15mm.
Any ideas?

Anvil does melee arms for its range of figures, including for their PMC figures.

There are a few in Foundry's Street Violence and Copplestone's Future Wars ranges. Expensive way to buy what you want however.

For 28mm, have you thought of kitbasking hard plastics?  You could start with Wargames Atlantic French partisans, and use sword arms from any number of fantasy/historical kits...just an idea...

Have a look at Hasslefree

Studio Miniatures has closed (don't think I knew that), but their stuff is now at Hayland

Reaper's Chronoscope range is probably worth a search as well

Basically any of the zombie manufacturers

I converted a whole stack of the Foundry Street Violence figures years ago (other ranges in there as well), with surprisingly little blood spilt, given I was drilling and cutting metal

Lots of good ideas above but one more to consider is this pack of African Militia with machetes from Assault group.

Zombicide characters provide limitless choices, but I'm not sure how easy you can purchase these or at what price.
