The old Call of Cthulhu 'Green & Pleasant Land' supplement had lists like that in it I'm pretty sure, if you know anyone who has a copy.

I assembled quite a list for the US for a CoC game by going to the local library and pulling newspapers for the years in question and copying the ads, including grocery ad inserts.

Try searchibng for newspaper archives online to see if you can find something similar.
