I'm looking to do some Spanish hussars wearing a mirliton.
Up to now I've been wholly using Front Rank figures for my Peninsular Spanish collection, which has been fine (especially after converting figures to make several units that are uniformed slightly differently to that supplied in the FR range) but, FR do not produce a hussar figure in a Mirliton hat "wing tied up". However, they do produce a couple of mirliton wearing types with the wing "down and flowing" in their SYW range.
So my question is this. Did Napoleonic hussars with mirliton hat ever let their wing down (so to speak)?
Please advise. It would be very helpful if they did!
