French garage
« on: April 09, 2023, 08:37:23 AM »
Between a real life bathroom renovation I've had time this long weekend to finally complete a piece of terrain that's been on my to-do-list for a long time - a French garage. This is totally scratchbuilt from a base of foamcore with DAS clay brickwork and helped along by my new 3D printer.

There is a bit more of a stepped out description of what I did on my blog: http://adventuresinlead.blogspot.com/2023/04/building-28mm-ww2-era-french-garage.html

That is a lovely set piece!  I particularly like the tank and tyre piles out at the side, that really gives it a lived in look, very cool.

Fabulous modelling skills! It reminded me of a little village garage I stopped at about 40 years ago, without the Yanks, obviously!  lol lol
If it isn't enjoyable, it isn't gaming!

It is all superb, but looking again (it deserves close attention) I have
to ask,  how did you do the signage?
 ??? ??? ???

If you follow the link in my original post you can download the sheet I made. I just grabbed images from the internet and made some myself in Photoshop, then weathered them. They are just glued to thin card and glued in place.
