Very nice work all around.  Your basing is spot on!

I think I accidentally deleted my last post about various rock formations and a couple of ruined cabins.

I managed to finish some of the rocks, the cabins and some additional trees (because you can't have enough trees, right?). There is a clue in the upcoming picture which suggests that I finished these a while ago and just forgot to upload it D'Oh.

I really like the cabins, they're basic but with just enough detail to make them interesting. I think they're made by Hovels. I'm sure someone more knowledgable will be able to correct me. I attempted to tart them up slightly with some interior detail.

I was able to get the corner rock formations painted and flocked at lunchtime today. I'm hoping to add some plants and tuffs this evening.

My Rock Recipe is a Charcoal grey, an uneven dry brush of Vallejo Model German Cammoflague Black Brown, a liberal wash of Vallejo Dark Brown Wash, then a drybrush of Vallejo Model Basalt before a wash of Games workshop Agrax Earth wash in the recesses and the bottom of the rock. Then, finally, a very, very light bone highlight. As usual my phone doesn't show the colours correctly.

Both sections join roughly together. There is a very obvious join on the top of the cliff; however, I'm hoping to hide this with scatter. Lessons have been learned for next time.

I hope to post again once I've added all of the foilage.

Looks good to me  8)

Couple of bushes and some tall tufts will help to hide that join.

Cheers, James; I'll definitely add a few.

I'm plodding along with scenery for my generic table, two more sabot terrain bases. I've added a couple of felled trees to these two- it adds a bit of interest but will hopefully also allow me to have a couple of 'felled tree' bases should scenarios call for it. As usual, I sanded the edges of the bases and added filler to create a bevel. Some small stones and various grades of sand have been glued onto the base. Once it's dry, I'll give it my usual painting and flocking treatment.

The next step in the project is some 60cm x 120cm boards. I'll use 12mm MDF, which I'll strengthen with wooden batons. These will be glued and screwed on to provide extra strength. I have four 12mm mdf boards cut; I'm not sure if I'll add two sides to each board, with a baton in between, or if I'll just have them single-sided. Decisions, decisions.
