Figure Identification - IKORE - VOID
« on: April 19, 2023, 06:55:41 PM »
Would anyone be able to identify this please?

Purchased on Ebay.  Came in a very battered i Kore blister naming it as Void with a partial label stating 11129 - Commando.  Researching that takes me to
i-KORE VOID 1.1 11129 Commando Sergeant.  But the photos on line for that is not this figure.  (Is it even in the correct blister I wonder, as it was held together with a staple.)

The Seller thought it was either VASA or Viridian and possibly a limited edition.

Identification is only to satisfy my curiosity as I bought it because I have some Void Militia figures and this mystery miniature is wearing shades and a long coat, so will fit in with the Militia group I plan to paint.

The style does seem to fit in with the VASA militia, it might have been one of the giveaways they did for the legionary (?) program. It's that long ago I can't remember what they did other than the junker lancer one I got hold of.

Definitely not a commando - that's the limited edition Suppressor Sgt. Tenko miniature. His backstory, in brief, is that he reached retirement age, settled down, and some local criminals started hassling him, so he dealt with them and reenlisted to clean up his adopted home. He's definitely meant to be on the line between Suppressors & militia, and can replace normal sergeants in militia squads. His official rules can be found here:

EDIT: He should have come with a shield too, iirc.

As Henchman21 wrote, this is one of the original I-kore era promo minis, Sgt Tenko. A VASA special character.

And yes, he should have also a shield.

Cheers,
Seb

Thanks all.

Now I have a name I was able to see him on the Lost Minis Wiki site.

I can't see a shield in their photo but it's in a blister so might be behind the foam.

I don't need the shield though as I might do some minor surgery and change and or add a different weapon.

I believe this one and the militia among others were sculpted by Steve Saleh who now runs Lucdid Eye Miniatures.
