I just read the whole thread and I want to say that your project is very exciting and amazing! Your pictures are truly a feast for the eyes! I am impressed by the level of details.

Thanks for all the interest - it helps to keep me plugging along.

We have already played a trial game of the GoR2 rules to prepare for the MOAB convention which is 29th Sep.

I would have preferred images of the table complete but here is some group shots as the table stands:

Table looks lovely.  The shots down the street and through the arches are great.

I wonder would it be more "interesting" to vary things a little?  eg what about spacing out the buildings in one area (eg by the temple) to create a plaza and cramming them in tighter in another area to create some alleyways?

I get the idea of using the aqueduct as a stopper/end piece but for such an amazing model I'd be tempted to slap it front and center right through the city!  It would also give cover with the arches and another tactical element to the layout.
