This is just marvelous.  Love it, and can't wait to see the next installment, let alone the completed project!

You are right in this but appart from painting, what gives life to the buildings is exactly what you put on them.
While in terms of gaming is really appelative to watch all those details and the gaming table looks superb, at the end i think you´ll have to find a middle term that satisties what you are after as the end result.

You are totally right Rui - it is finding the balance.

Walls of Rome next (as you well know)  :D

Well the "Walls of Rome" may be a little ambitious - but there will be walls.  ;)

Superb work, it’s going to look amazing.
As to interior detail - isn’t there going to be some fighting in the buildings with the roofs being lifted off, giving spectators an extra little surprise? :)

Absolutely stunning work. I hope I can get to MOAB to see it in the flesh.

There well could be fighting within but then by adding internal detailing it makes that harder to pull off. A bit of a catch 22.

Why don't you try to install interior lighting in the shops? I would never leave any details away, because they add so much life to what you're doing there. With an appropriate overhead light source (warm white LED - costs are virtually nil) you'd really gain another eyecatching feature! Batteries and switch could be easily installed in one of the living quarters upstairs.

This was actually suggested to me by another as well - it is a great idea. I might have to look into it but I do plan on a pretty large table which would mean quite a bit of extra work.

Thanks all - your comments are appreciated.

There are artificial candles that are LED T-Lights.

You could simply attach one to the underside of the roof or ground floor ceiling.

They are very cheap and work quite well.

Yeah that could be an idea.

Awesome work!

Yes mate, that is the plan. Thinking about coming along?

Would be keen if I can get away for the weekend. Will investigate and let you know. Might see if I can drag Craigus along and make an event of it. Would there also be a bit of a chance to give BotS a run or will the sole focus be GoR?
