The diary is looking magnificent…You’re on top form with this one (excuse me, feel a bit queasy - not much of a sailor. Oh dear….!).

What a splendid pool of followers you have there. I adore how they all have torches.

Yes, the torches are one of the reasons I bought them. Perfect for dungeon-delving.

Cheers, Doug. I'm hoping we get to document some distinguished and dauntless deeds of dramatic derring-do in our daily diary!

That’s clever using a picture of a book. I’m looking forward to updates as the campaign progresses!

Having only recently hears about Five Leagues I bout the PDF from Wargames vault last night and I'm keen to get reading. If this post is anything to go on I think I'm going to enjoy it.
Below is a link to my blog. It's the place where I write uninteresting things about little toy soldiers. I do this because I refuse to grow up and behave like an adult.

Yes, it does look like its going to be a lot of fun. We're still in the set-up phase and I'm painting minis for it, but we are still getting a lot out of it, even before we have our first game!

Re-based some old Elves to represent the Ice-Heart Court.

It is believed that in the primordial times, the ancient Fey Courts held wind and sun in their power. With a word, a Fey queen could ravage a land with storms, or scorch it with sun. However, as the old gods emerged, the Fey had to relinquish more and more of their power, driving them back into the deep forests and the snow-capped mountains.

Across the land, the Ice-heart Court seeks to reclaim their ancient rights. Their terrible queen seeks to plunge the world into a perpetual winter where she would become powerful enough to challenge the gods themselves.

Finished painting the brigands from page one. Quite pleased with them, suitably menacing!

...and some more old minis re-based ready to be a deserter squad.

Whatever army these came from is irrelevant. They’ve figured out that pillaging the countryside is more profitable than fighting in the field.

This is looking very promising indeed, the diary looks superb as does the map, inspite of having no scale. :D

We've just arrived home and I needed a large flaggon of Old Mule Hoof ale (the one with a solid kick) and someting enjoyable to read and this is just the ticket.

Well done Sir.

They look like the Go Go dancers at the Drooping Spoon Tavern in the next village, should be easy to beat, just buy them a Bloody Mary and they'll let you tickle their belly.

I love how each team has it's own colours  lol. Very easy to see at a quick glance who's who.

I think they do a bit of moonlighting there, when they get bored with Ghouling!

You're right, I hadn't noticed that! My cultists are already blocked-in in orange too. So, it's going to be several teams of 10 or 11 minis in their own colours, time to start a Premier league!

Indeed,  lol   lol   lol

...and now another team in Screaming Skull colours. I actually painted my Heroquest skeletons, after years in the drawer.
