The cloth work is amazing - how did you achieve the results on those cloaks?

Thanks for the kind words all.

It's been a bit quiet in here for a while, but not for lack of painting, just a lack of me getting around to updating (sorry!)

First up, four mounted hearthguard from Victrix's new late Roman armoured cavalry box. Another very lovely kit, these four are straight(ish) builds from the box just with a few heads from the other infantry sets mixed in, to get the appropriate facial hair.

Thanks for looking!

Thanks for the kind words everyone.

Catching up on some older painting, here's two more unarmoured warriors, making up the second point of them for Saga:

And then the last two archers, to make up the full point of ranged levies:

And here's a group shot of the 6(ish) point force of infantry for Saga:

Thanks both :)

Here's the rest of the heavy cavalry, plus a mounted warlord and two companions. Once again, Victrix have created a lovely kit, and the LBMS transfers are wonderfully evocative additions.

And one very bad group shot

Thanks for looking!

Those are beautiful! I like how each figure has unique elements, like the patterns on the cloaks, but they still look good together as a unit. To me that kind of fits for Arthurians, banded together from remnants.
