Have you looked at Tin Soldier? They do a mixed range of ancient Italian states and further separate ranges of Samnites and Etruscans.
I can say they are a lot better in the metal than the website pictures would lead you to believe.
Up until a couple of weeks ago they were only £1 per figure but they have now gone up to £1.25, still excellent value and their mail order is the fastest .
I am going to build a wargames army, a big beautiful wargames army, and Mexico is going to pay for it.

2019 Painting Challenge :
figures bought: 500+
figures painted: 57
9 vehicles painted
4 terrain pieces scratchbuilt

I'll have to take a look at Tin Soldier.  The figures are listed as 25mm, how do they compare?

They are 28mm going on 30mm like most others. I have Scything,  some Greeks and some Romans, they all fit fine with my other stuff.

A mixed unit of Newline and Crusader figures.  This was an experiment to combine the two miniature lines, and it appears that the two companies blend well together in a single unit.  I’m not crazy about how the shields turned out, but its done for now.

Combined unit, ready for wars up and down the Italian peninsula.

Newline figures with command

Crusader unarmoured Samnites

Looking good!  I like the red rim on the shield.  What decals did you use for the shields?
