I have a pack of the Mutineer Miniatures Indian mutiny volunteer gentlemen horse riders but no mounts for them. Mutineer don’t appear to have horses in stock so, can anyone recommend decent stand-ins that will fit without messing around? Thanks.

I would suggest a word of caution over using the Empress horses.  Right period, correct horse furniture but the Mutineer figures might not fit properly. This afternoon I've just finished some Empress Indian Mutiny  mounted officers and can compare the figures/horses to the Mutineer gentlemen horse. The Mutineer models are bigger and the Mutineer horses designed to accomodate them. I have my doubts whether they will fit in the Empress saddles.

Absolutely correct. The Empress horses, while beautiful, are way too slender for the Mutineer riders.
Front rank horses might fit better but the saddlery is probably all wrong.
The Foundry horses are too small.
Panic, Chaos and Disorder. My job here is done

Am I right to assume that Mutineer is still a going concern? Their website is still live and I tried the contact us form on their website, but it's not working for me.
