The 1829 train might actually work very nicely for an early 19th century project I'm planning.

I'll be in the Auchan at Charbourg on Saturday, so will look out for these. Better not tell the wife!

I made it to Auchan on Saturday. No sign Western Express traiin set, but they did have the 1829 set and a set similar to this one, but with 3 coaches and the same amount of track as the two sets previously mentioned in this thread:

I bought the 1829 train. The coaches are perfect for 28mm, but the engine is massive (due to the need to fit 2 x AA batteries), so I'll rework it and add a cab.
