Rangifer Warband questions

Anyone using a Rangifer warband?
I fancied building one but have some questions about the rules in Spellcaster magazine 3 which I suspect ony Joe can answer 🙂
Q1: Why no 'apprentice'? Seems that the Rangifer warband are starting at a disadvantage given that regular warbands have the apprentice phase.
Q2: Why only 6 [shamen +5] figures in the warband when regular warbands are allowed 10?
Q3: Are Rangifer warbands allowed to add members to build it to 10 when experience & gold allow?

Or should I just use the warband building rules in the rulebook with the Rangifer details in spellcaster 3?
I'm interested in how this will work, if anyone has done it yet?

In Spellcaster 3 p4, Joe states that the article greatly expands the rules for rangifers - but they still seem incomplete to allow a full warband - or am I missing something?

Given that the Rangifier in the rulebook is a single type, then the article does greatly expand the rules, but it wasn't designed to make a full warbands.
