Wood Elf Wardancer
« on: November 03, 2009, 01:30:22 AM »
Hi all - this is the first of many 80s citadel minis I've recently acquired off ebay to build an old school Wood Elf army. Loads more to come but may take a while so I'll probably concentrate on the more interesting minis first - the Zoat is looking good for my next victim!

Yep quality minis - just got another one done which I was quite happy with - the Ginger Ninja!

Zoat

You have my rapt attention. I love Zoats so much.

Very nice Wood Elves too, the tatts are very fitting.

Ta very much - best get on with the aforesaid Zoat! Also in the pipeline is a Wood Elf Sorceress (not as racy as some of the other Elven ladies round here) and her Were-fox familiar...

Not sure it is - looks like a citadel mini but I've never come across it before - pics to follow soon...

... and here she is! A fairly basic paint job so far - I'll be doing more on the staff and the robe to make her stand out a little more - perhaps some feathers and maybe a couple of tatts.

Also pictured is a wierd little mini I picked up on ebay whilst looking for suitable minis for Shape Changers. It was described as a were-fox and I thought it made a nice little familiar for the sorceress. Thought the tattoos would also make it look a little less naked and fit in with the wilder elements of the army!

And here they are to show scale -

Also - haven't forgotten the Zoat- humming and hahing over a new colour scheme as I'm being pretty traditional with the elves...

Very nice. She's a Citadel Dark Elf by the way.
