Armourfast 20mm M10/Achilles- breach?

Ok, so in the stash I have a couple of Armourfast’s M10s and Achilles.

For once there is a reason that a kit hasn’t been assembled.. it’s the lack of a breach for the gun. It just looks silly, an open top vehicle with no breach..

So, does anyone know if there is a seller out there who can supply a couple of breaches? That way I can finally get these bad boys on the table…

I was thinking something similar - maybe with a basic block for the breach?

It does feel a pretty big omission from a 20mm kit, the 10mm ones I have come with breaches and some internal turret detail.

Yep, I scratched a couple of very crude breaches, and hid it under the gun's crew.

Thanks guys, the hunched crew/Simple breach may be the best solution - it just seems a shame. I did wonder if S&S do them, unfortunately no…

I did a similar bodge job with a chunk of plastic I think   It was few years ago.

I was convinced SOMEONE must make them but while S&S and EWM both do M10 upgrade sets, these dont seem to include gun breaches

With 3d printing someone should be able to create one.

i thought the later m10's had a breach included, the display ones i have with my figs has a breach

I scratch built a breach for a T34/76 in 1/56.







Admittedly not for an open topped vehicle.

I may try and do something a lot simpler,  just to take up the space, that looks ‘ok’.

Shaun, I read on Armourfast’s forum that they will be back, there has been health issues for the owner, but she is getting better, but when it’s back is unknown… fingers crossed..

well that is great news as it would be a great loss, hopefully they can do a few more new models as well like easy assemble ww2 trucks & other useful things esp ones to do conversions on.
