I'm aware that they are due to be in print from Helion next year, but are they available anywhere at present? Or even just a pdf of the quick ref sheet?

No not at the moment. I watched a demo by one of the authors at Historicon using Warlord Epic ECW figures. They did have a QRS in pdf but it is not available atm. Here is a link to their website.
