Been awhile between projects and with a recent purchase of some 3D files and some scouring the internet for files. I am working on a long term project of recreating some old school 40k love. I always had a soft spot for the war on Armageddon and at one point had a sizeable force of old steel legion models. Sadly I sold them when my kids were younger (bills suck) but my youngest just graduated high school and heading to college in the fall. With that in mind I will be an empty nester and need a nice long project to keep me sane. When I am done with the steel legion I will begin printing the orks for them to fight against so my buddies and I can get some games in. We may even break out the old previous versions of the rules or just use One Page Rules to play with.

So without further delay here is my project log for some steel legion in 15mm scale.

Thanks guys, I am pretty happy with the results. This weekend I managed to get a little more completed and worked on, even did some more printing.

I have also recently begun painting 15mm scale SL infantry. I'm curious if you could share where you purchased the tanks. I'm quite impressed with their appearance and would love to print some myself!

These are brilliant! The Steel Legion were my favourites too. Fortunately, I still have my 28s but I'm loving these. Looking forward to seeing how this develops.

6-15mm are much better scales for the games the rules/background talk about. 28mm was and is for RT as it was when first released. Lovely models and painting - any chance of a link as to the seller/where to get the STL's?
