Lovely work :-* :-*
Some of the details are amazing. The stripes and the rose and the English flag and the faces and the colours and the stripes again. Oh hell the whole lot. :o :o

Absolutely superb painting.  If I could paint but one miniature to such a standard I'd happily die tomorrow.  On another note, this reminds me of the 1588 and All That site I was looking at only last week...   Tempted; very tempted!

Gert lush!

Those colours just sing out, and I love the burnished metal of the sowrdsman's breastplate. Who makes these beauties?

My next project is almost certainly going to be 16th century based, so these are dangerous inspiration!

...these boys were edged out of the latest painting competition final by a solitary vote.

DAMN!   :o

I'm telling ya... a nice new group of Mohawks, set on your new terrain board, will carry the day.

Heh Heh... Thanks Ray. Maybe one day... I shall perservere!  ;)

Who makes these beauties?

Paul, the figures are by Mike Owen from Foundry's Sea Dogs and Swashbucklers range, although two of these, the arquebusier and the halberier were never actually released - I managed to acquire them, plus one or two other 'never released' models.
Don't ask me why Foundry in their wisdom never released them, 'cos they look alright to me!  ;)

Please don't say that rose was done freehand, or I really will be depressed. Surely it has to be a decal or else you've gone and signed a contract with Old Nick  :(

Outstanding work and I agree, your best set of figures so far  :D

I'm afraid to say the Tudor Rose was indeed done freehand  ;)
Thanks for the lovely comments  :)

Gorgeous miniatures, Captain. I'm sure, next time against Kevin, you'll make it ...  ;)

I didn't game or paint for about 12 years. You should have seen the first figures I painted when I came back to wargaming!
The more you do, the better you get - providing you have the patience: which is the thing I still struggle with.  ;)
Look forward to seeing your pics Addam666.
