Here's a few pics of the try out we had this weekend for the game we're putting on at the Joy of 6 on Sunday in Sheffield. All the vehicles and infantry are 6mm. The buildings are 3mm and the ground scale is 3 miles = 1 inch. We are using Battlegroup rules with one base representing one battalion.
The table includes the three Commonwealth beaches and the Airborne objectives. Caen, Bayeux and Carpiquet are all on here.
Please pop along and have a look.

Cheers  :) Pete (chief designer for Total Battle Miniatures) made it, folds in half for transporting, all the German initial positions are cut outs that can have plain terrain or defensive positions
 It's a work of art.

Well, there's one thing I need to have a good look at this coming weekend!
There are 100 types of people in the world. Those who understand binary and those who can work from incomplete data.

That is beautiful. I wish I could attend. Are the rescaling of the rules your own adaptations?

Hi,

Sorry but there's a misprint in the OP - the game was played using the CWP Division Commander ruleset rather than Battlegroup.

Cheers!

TBM? Excellent, that's a Rolls Royce level name as far as I'm concerned, great 6mil range. I can't make Jo6, so take plenty of photos of it, would you? ;)
