15mm Konflict47
« on: June 28, 2023, 07:58:00 AM »
So I have been painting some armoured infantry for my US and German forces.

I have about 100 armoured infantry for each in total, that should be enough.

Next up will be about 100 German Zombies lol

It is such a great shame that Clockwork Goblin sold the rights to Warlord and they killed off the 15mm for ever :-(

Just use the rules for 28mm for 15mm figs. I do that withBolt Action and it works perfectly - in fact IMO better than in 28mm. Getting 15mm ww2 mech might be a challenge but a little conversion or 3D printing should solve that I suspect.

P.S. your figs look great. :)

Mellis the 15mm is the original K47 idea/range predates the 28mm Warlord travesty. Frostie is not (I believe) bemoaning anything other than Clockwork Goblin games’ absolutely appalling handling of their product line and IP. I feel that they missed an opportunity(I may be wrong, they may have got  rich from it and good for them if so) - I just wish they’d been able to team up with someone like Battlefront with Flames if War as at least they would have stayed in the excellent 15mm they were meant for.

I fully agree 15mm is a brilliant sub in 28mm games and I do the same for Bolt Action, Chain of Command and others.

Don’t worry Frostie every time I see you post about K47 I get closer to realising I’ll never have enough to play and that I should just post what I have to you.

Thanks Balm,

From a commercial view I can see why CG did what they did but I just think it was a great shame.

As Mellis and yourself say just use rules as is, I know people who do this for BA as well and it works really well with better looking ranges.

I do have a 'smallish pile...honest its small(ish) of 15mm K47 and normal WW2 Yanks and Germans to work through for the project but it's a slow grow one.

Always will to recruit more ;)

Thanks Mellis, Yep 15mm figures with 28mm rules, I have no issue with that.  I already have a few Mechs for both US and German forces, I'm just working my way to them on the painting table

I was in the Facebook group that was provided unit stats for Weird-FoW.
I think it was called Flames of '47. Many of us were pretty saddened by Warlord's move.

Here's some of my models, which feel like kind of a waste of precious hobby time now sadly.
enjoyed working on them, however.

That is odd, the first photograph looks like Evil Bear powered suits.

They look great. Just cuz Warlord drops the range does not mean you have to stop playing games. ;)

Great looking models for a interesting What if era

I may also recommended looking for the Gear Krieg WWII line of mecha and vehicles. They were 15mm.  They are out there some where

Very nice!
I understand what you mean by the waste of time feeling....shame you are in the US or I may have offered to take those minis off of your hands....I still may if my American colleague comes back to work in my office.

Would love to see more of your collection.

Should have been at Fall In.
But whom I sold them too, I have a chance of getting them back at some point.
