Militant Busmen and Local Guides
« on: November 06, 2009, 11:54:57 AM »
with apologies for the [poor photography and current LACK OF BASES

They were all drawn to the Keep; the soldiers who brought death; the father and daughter fighting for life; the people who have always feared it; and the one man who knows its secret....

Agreed, and very nicely painted too.

All you need now is a Blakey figure ;)

Very good painting; I can't equal that. I've also used the Musketeer IRA officer for these and I've given mine white-topped caps. All we need is a Transport and General Workers Union banner..

Very nice work by the way.

Millitant busdrivers - when they say "Exact Fare Required" they're prepared to back it up!

But please get those cool paintjobs off those hideous splattabases!

Thanks for the kind comments.  This is the new banner bearer - the flag is based on the 1930s "Busmen's Punch" a left leaning union newspaper for the busmen's rank and file.  Figure is Empress (ex-Anglian) with a Woodbine head. He will be varnished and based soon. Apologies for the poor photography.

Still got no bases then? ;)
Nice big banner full of period feel. More room on top!
