Thanks for the kind comment!

Mustering of the Aztec troops has begun.
Some have crept out of the pile of shame stored in the dark crevices of long forgotten drawers ;) They were joined by a pack of plastic Ghost Archipelago Tribals.

Then a horde fresh Aztecs and Tribals arrived from a place called the web..

Do you hear the Aztec drums?

I started working on the jaguar warrior  lot. There will be about 30 of them. (WIP)
Hope you like my take on the jaguar skin

I think the next will have a more dense pattern of spots.

Again some not so good pictures. Hope the miniatures are better than the pics. Shields are still missing.

Looking fantastic. The jaguar group looks very special. It must feel so good to pull the minis from the dusty corner of the grey mountain, well done.

I was just thinking, it would be quite hot stuffed inside a jaguar hide and fighting away in the jungle.

Looking forward to watching the city slowly grow.

Matt.

Thanks guys!

Here are some  more pictures:

This time Eagle Warriors. I found it difficult to research proper ideas for the depiction of mexican eagles. But I'm quite content with the outcome of the golden mexican eagles, I chose as an example.

Cheers

Great project!

I’m loving the temple build….great stonework.   Have you thought of adding in a little scaffolding like that shown in the Apocalypto picture posting?   That would really lift it I think.

Looking forward to the rest of the build.

Wargames Atlantic Aztec and a mix of a Northstar Miniatures Tribal with Wargames Atlantic bits as a drummer. Again to be used at Hamburger Tactica.

Thanks!  ;)

More Aztec tribals made from Northstar Miniatures Tribals with some Wargames Atlantic Aztec bits.
These are intended for use in the  temple district of Tenochtitlan.
