The conversions are top-notch, especially with the characterful head pieces. I also really like the rust effect on the ghosts and your experiments with sheer fabric and tartan designs.

Heartily agreed! The transparent fabric is stunning, and I love the conversions- looking forward to seeing them painted!

Thanks the sheer fabric was a bit hit and miss as it went along, thanks I think it got there in the end. I'd used a similar technique for stockings on a mini before and stubble. Thanks for the feedback :)

Delightfully weird headdress. Should look amazing painted

Thanks Burg, yeah not full bretonnian crazy helmets but distinctive enough :)

I've finished up some razor tusks boars for my beastmen or goblins to field. The GW plastics sculpts were so sharp with their fur texture and easy to paint they came out alright and needed the classic goblin green base lip.

Cheers
Matt

I picked them up second hand so not exactly sure, but I am pretty sure it's Games Workshop Razortusks. One seemed to have a rider at some point so perhaps orcs? Unless that was just a conversion.

Oh, that painting is superb  :o This grey fur is very well done. I will consider using this color scheme for future boars (but mine don't have that hair unfortunately).

Thanks Phil, they were underpinned in 2 browns and a more olive brown, then spotted and highlighted up to grey. Trying to get the mix of colours seen across wild Boar.

Those boars looks great, awesome feeling of weight as they run.
Great paintjobs and fantastic bases that really compliments the colours on the boars.

;D  lol  lol  lol

Thank you everyone for your kind words! Greatly appreciated!! Its good to get some traction on the grey mountain, Which is larger than ever!! >_<

For many years I had wanted to add the varied questing knights to my Bretonnian forces, liking their varied mounts and luggage. Over many years of ebay scouring I found enough to build a 12 knight force with a few old school minis chucked in for good measure.

First up we have 4 knights.

Searle D'Silverhelm
Searle has spent many years questing for the grail in the elven realms plying his trade fighting fearsome beasts and even finding treasures in the jungles of lustria.

Frederick Zweihander
Frederick has been led into the areas around the empire on his quests, being called upon to slay vast hordes of undead. With each bout his ability with his 2 handed sword improves, he now ranks amongst the sword masters of the land. I freehanded the large eagle motif but went for old transfers for the fer-de-lesee.

Baron Odo D'Outremer
Odo has long been on the quest scouring the sands of Arabia and fighting against the undead. His devotion to the lady has seen him craft his own shrine by hand which he keeps lit at all times in the hope she shall meet him. It is harder than one can imagine to carry a candle lit shrine while galloping at full speed, yet Odo seems to be blessed and not once has the candles gone out before he has relit new ones. Perhaps the Lady will visit him soon.

Theodric of Brionne
Theoderic's quest has seen him travel through dwarves lands and hang up the lance for the axe, which he uses to cleave left and right with its wicked half moon edge. He loves how much it cuts through his adversaries that he has a spare one in his pocket, and just incase that might get misplaced in combat too, he's got 2 extra ones tucked into his helmet. His motto is, you can never have too many axes. A theory which wins over many amongst the dwarves.

All four mustered together

Cheers

Those knights look great. Makes me want to buy and paint some even though I've no idea what I'd do with them afterwards.
