Hussites get hammered
« on: September 10, 2023, 11:04:33 AM »
No report. The pain is still too fresh and severe. Let's just note that I've managed what Žižka himself never managed to do, namely get paddywhacked by a feudal crusading army. Frankly, I think the  Pope arranged for my army to have a loaded die.
The laws of probability do not apply to my dice in wargames or to my finesses in bridge.

Looks an intriguing game. Which rules were you using? I've often contemplated a Hussite army but as I game in 28mm and would need to build both sides just too big a project for me.

Thanks

My own rules, Ten More Sons! (named after the highly dubious story about Catherine Szorza). If I used 28mm, I'd also think this was too ambitious a project, since the Bohemians very, very seldom lose. But in 10mm it's quite feasible to add a few gimmick armies to the collection.
