BSSMALL2023 Gunbirds Mine? Mine!
« on: September 21, 2023, 02:37:30 PM »
As I want to dabble a bit in the old West (28mm), the first thing I need is a .....mine. Right. Priorities and all that. I found 1 bit of plastic rail in the bin at the Goodwill so that will be my starting point :)

First setup. Grabbed the plastic bit of rail and cut it to size (need to cut more off eventually, meh), and made a test setup of how I wanted it. After that, superglue, scrap fireworks wood and many, many holes to drill to insert dowels.

We are getting there, eventually.

Very cool so far.  Very different from the typical hole in the ground that is usually done.

Cork arrived for the hill, but they sent me half a tree. I'm used to getting boxes of scraps and small sizes. This is half a table on its own! This will take a bit of going over see which part to snap off and use....

Lovely work on that wooden frame.

Wow, that is a lot of bark...at least it should see you through a good few projects.
