Anyone play these rules? They look interesting, hoping to get some reviews before buying.

I played Gettysburg Soldiers years back. Very simple, kind of toy soldier rules. Definitely on the game end of the spectrum rather than the simulation end. Try them, they were reasonably priced. Didn't scratch my itch but your mileage may vary.
And the glorious general led the advance
With a glorious swish of his sword and his lance
And a glorious clank of his tin-plated pants. - Dr. Seuss

Did a demo of them at Historicon. On the fast play side, but not bad.

I've played them.  Heck, my gaming group even helped playtest them for the author.  They provide a good game that can be fought to a tactical conclusion in a reasonable amount of time...

FYI, there are a couple AARs of games using Saratoga Soldiers in my AWI thread here:  https://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=134054.0

I played them once at a con.  I enjoyed them.  If you are a button counter, they might not be for you.  Those days are long behind me. I just like to play with toy soldiers.

Just to update everyone, I have purchased them and played 2-3 games and they're excellent. They will be making an appearance at Historicon and on wargaming Youtube this summer.

I have been tinkering/adding some "advanced" rules, like some scenario-based Brigade breakpoints, optional variable movement, and commander personality traits. The biggest change we made is making kills only "half a stand" instead of a full stand. The final product is like 90% Saratoga soldiers, with a dash of Fife and Drum, a sprinkle of British Grenadier.

I played them at HMGS Recon in Spring. I liked them. Easy to pick up and learn.  Need to post the photos to my blog.

I'll have to try your house rules, Bellerophon.
