Battle of Preussisch Eylau 1807
« on: October 01, 2023, 02:35:33 PM »
Dear forum users. I decided to make figures of Russian soldiers in winter uniforms for 1807. (the comparison shows the figures of the voltigeur and the cuirassier Perry)
Do you have images of the figures of soldiers according to military regulations as of 1807?

The book Eylau to Friedland will be a very helpful resource.  It has illustrated images of nearly all the regiments.

Absolutely love these. Will they be able to be purchased anywhere?
I have nothing important to say so just keep on scrolling.

Thank you very much for your attention to this project. Next will be Russian huntsmen. The Russians also fought in this uniform at Austerlitz.

We are currently looking for a foundry worker in St. Petersburg.
As soon as I know something about metal casting, I will let you know.

Very good sculpts of an under-represented period. Looking forward to dragoons and horse artillery with the older-style helmet.

One quick note for your marketing department - in English, the Russian light infantry are invariably referred to as "Jaegers", without the translation into "hunters". (Likewise, in English the French equivalent are always referred to as "Chasseurs" without translation.)

Is there any chance of these going to Eureka as well for casting and production? I fear that the current conflict is going to last for a fair old time yet and imports from Russia are not practical.

While I am certainly no expert on those chaps, they do look good to me.  Well done!

Many thanks to the guys for your attention to this project.
The figures were made for one project in St. Petersburg.
We are currently looking for a foundry worker.
I can't leave the country. (I am in danger of leaving people close to me). All that remains is to wait until the world calms down.

Merry Christmas. For Orthodox Christians it is January 7
