Canister fire starts telling! Kanitz grenadiers of the first line have retreated with four hits to reform and the grenadiers of the second line have got three hits!

At the right side of the first Prussian line of battalions, Kleist grenadiers have got three hits as well!

And the elite battalion Prinz Friedrich von Preussen has retreated behind Frederick to reform!

Meanwhile, at the other hill, a bloody cavalry battle takes place: The Austrian troopers receive the Prussian charge stationary, as they had no orders to counter charge.
The situation is almost balanced. The Prussians have the charge advantage, the Austrians have the uphill advantage.
The Prussians have some edge though, one supporting unit more, as they are attacking with 4 regiments against 3.

Von Zieten leads the Plettenberg Dragoons supported by the Black Hussars, against the Zweibrucken Birkenfeld Dragoons, remaining to defend the hill!

More carnage at the cavalry battle! The Plettenberg dragoons annihilate the Austrian Zweibrucken Birkenfeld Dragoons (6 hits!), but they are too exhausted and must fall back to reform with 4 hits.

The Standinggrenadiers are repulsed and retreat to reform. The battery got to hits.
The left grenadier battalion still fights hand to hand with the Austrian gunners...

While the remaining Austrian cavalry has recovered, a Regiment off Saxon Chevauxlegers enters the table as reinforcements.
Unfortunately for the Austrians, the cavalry brings a 1 and remain in place, unmoved!

While the III.Garde still in column strives to find space between the other battalions to come to grips with the enemy, Kanitz Grenadiers have returned to the front, rerlease a deadly volley and the opposing battery is no more!

Miltiades throws his third line to assault! The fusiliers! Prinz Heinrich von Preussen Fusiliers assault and annihilate the central battery!
But took so many casualties themselves, that they have to retreat back to reform!
But the Prussians have a couple more battalions behind them to throw to the battle!

The Austrians bring the infantry forward. Erzherzog Karl Hungarians against the Kanitz Grenadiers, who, having taken some casualties earlier, are now done for.
The Austrians are still holding the hill with the skin of their teeth!
