Have not posted to LAF in AGES, but this game looks great. I'll be grabbing it and the arena on KS when it goes live.

Fantastic job!

I've actually recently bough a hex gladiator mat and have been looking at various rule systems and figures.  I have the old pre-painted EM4 figs and wanted to get back into gladiator gaming.  The timing on this is fortunate for me.

Thanks CptJake I appreciate the support. The concept of BotS was born here on LAF many years ago and it has been a long and winding road.

For any Solo gamers out there, I have tried it solo and it does work, you do have to work with two hats, so to speak, but the dice actually make it easier. Obviously not seen the full finished product, but as a pure soloist I will get this.

Kickstarter launched.

I backed it earlier and at that point it already had pledges of 16k of the 36k goal.

I wish it well Furt!

I've committed!
Frank gave me a demo game at MOAB in sydney, when I had a spare half an hour.

It was solid and the theme is great. The pics on the KS look good, upgraded to the Saturnalia pack.

Hope it goes well guys!

Thanks for all the wonderful support guys! We are fully funded and ripping through stretch goals.

It's nice to see Blood on the Sands getting some love on LAF again.  It means the world to me. :-*

For those who are unaware - we have joined up with both Wargames Atlantic and Sarissa who are contributing a sprue of hard plastic multi-part historical gladiators and a beautiful mdf arena respectively. The prototype figures were painted by our very own Dr. Mathias too!

Again thanks for everyone's support. My BotS dream is slowly becoming a reality.

Wow, This looks great.
I wish I had the cash to back it. Best of luck for the rest of the campaign, not that you're needing luck :)

Thanks gents. I'm very happy with the campaign's progress so far.

It seems gladiatorial combat games aren't as niche as I had thought.

Everybody loves a gladiator. Outside of fantasy and sci-fi minis, Gladiators and the only hisotrical type minis I own (with the odd modern mini but those I bought for superheroes)
