Generic Superhero Minis?

Hi folks.

I can't help but notice that nearly all superhero minis are either Marvel or DC. This isn't necessarily a bad thing since both franchises have great options...but what if you want something else? I haven't found a lot, but it might be helpful to share. If you guys know of any others, feel free to link them.

• https://www.reapermini.com/search/superhero Reaper has a wide selection of...pretty much everything, really. Unsurprisingly, they have a decent amount of minis that could be used in a superhero game, ranging from hard-boiled detectives to cyber-apes and several things in between.
• https://www.ex-manus.com/shop/ I am slightly biased for Ex Manus minis since their creator is a lovely bloke, but you can use several of the available minis depending on the flavour of your games. Depending on the scale of your other minis and terrain, they might be better suited to use as statues.
• https://crossoverminiatures.com/product-category/heroes/ Haven't tried out Crossover Miniatures myself yet, but there's a good selection to pick from. The sculpts are also not super busy, so there's room for fancy freehanding, if that's your thing.
• https://www.oldgloryminiatures.com/products.asp?cat=25mm+SuperFigs+Superhero+Game+System Probably the biggest variety, but I don't know how good the sculpts are in person. Still, worth a look.

Reaper has a number of generic superhero figures. I have got them and really like them.

Superheroes are pretty special in that they don't have a specific look.  You can use pretty much anything.

Reaper miniatures has a lot that will work perfectly, they just aren't called "superheroes".

Do a search there for "golem" and you'll get a lot of figures that will work perfectly without any changes, like this guy;

Krysten is a hard drinking but accomplished private detective, with hidden talents.

Crooked Dice have a number of useful figures, not just ninjas.

Heroclix are still cheap on ebay. I have created a tooooon of my own supers with a repaint and a little greenstuff.
