I am happy enough to have survived the battle for now
I am going to build a wargames army, a big beautiful wargames army, and Mexico is going to pay for it.

2019 Painting Challenge :
figures bought: 500+
figures painted: 57
9 vehicles painted
4 terrain pieces scratchbuilt

Careful James, there is a difference between what you've said and
I am happy, for now, to have survived the battle.

The first hints that Lucky Philip might pose a threat to your health.  lol lol lol

Like the first film of a trilogy. Epic season finale but nothing conclusively decided :-).  Love the battle report and the confusion that reigned - very believable, and well done the players for getting their boys together for the "bash".

Look forward to season 2.

About a month ago I asked players what they wanted to do with the campaign.
1)Let players regroup for the winter & start again in the spring (recruit/recover etc)
2)Continue with reduced forces, i.e. do the campaign as a series of skirmishes.
3) Move up to large skirmish
4) Continue as a form of diary based campaign
5) Quietly let it 'go to sleep' with the possibility of 'waking it up'
at some time in the future.

Most that voiced an opinion, went for option 5.
On my Workbench were figures to be used as the King & Queen (should they be needed)
I have now finished them.
