At the turn of the century Birmingham was the repository for the European Statuary Mountain where Statuary was displayed that not even their creators would love.

There was the butter men, the Leaning Iron Maiden, the floozy in the jacuzzi and the associated sphinxes.

It's a nod of the head towards the physical characteristics of many Brummies. One of the popular aspects of the manufacturing industry in Birmingham was the ready opportunity to remove this identifying birthmark via an industrial accident involving a lathe or sheet metal press.

It always annoys me slightly when I see folk who can measure stuff and carve through foam board neatly (yeah I know, fresh blades aplenty, slice through on a slight angle, multiple passes etc). I've never really mastered it myself. It's why my scratch builds look like they've been put together by a dodgy contractor working off a plan found in a skip, with a one armed bricky and a near sighted plasterer as his labour force.

That really is a nice build, Can't wait to see it with the balustrades, skylights and most importantly.... blazing curtains.

Have you worked out where you are going to get a youthful Kate Adie figure from? IIRC you already have the camera set up and scaffold for it.
