Up next …. Shell Petrol station in 28mm

I’m using parts of the Sarrissa model for this and some 1970s petrol pumps sourced on EBay UK. Few stickers in the SHELL livery of yellow and red and a home made sign.

Just took a punt on some EBay sourced SHELL themed Playmobil to add accessories .... hopefully about the right scale

Fantastic!

I particularly like the baby-poo/chicken korma-coloured Austin Aggro. My first car was a Mini Clubman painted that same god-awful shade. The first thing I did was re-spray it a similarly god-awful shade of metallic blue.

I made my Sarissa gas station a Shell, too...

I'm sure yours will turn out MUCH better, though.

Nice work there. I still have a has station in my long and winding building/painting queue. I have what I need, but just have to actually do it...

And, inspired by your used car lot, I've ordered that chain link fencing. Supposed to arrive tomorrow, according to the USPS, and after an odd and circuitous tracking journey.......

One question. Are those petrol pumps double sided, ie do they have the flow meter and price displays on both sides? If not, you might want to reverse a couple as otherwise it would be tricky to utilise more than pump at a time.

Sorry, that's pedantry. It's simply an avatar/toy but been thinking about how to do this for similar projects.

I wish we could go back to the time when someone filled the tank and wiped your windscreen for you. That hasn't happened here for twenty years or so now.

I’ve got an assistant from 1st Corps that will do the filling up.

Yes but of unknown origin as I bought it built off EBay

It’s plastic so I added floors and the base then used model railway fencing to make a courtyard and delivery area.
