Sinbad! - Simple tomb cave - pg 6
« on: 18 November 2023, 04:39:10 PM »
Time for another little bundle of fun project  :)

This has been on the cards for a while and I've got quite a few figures and beasties for it (still looking for the man himself though) and I thought I would start with some terrain first. The inspiration is coming from everywhere really, whatever fits in my head with how I think it should look.

The cavern system is going to be based on 200mm squares and for the most part everything will fit into this. There will be some larger areas that will include features (ruins, lava river, fountain of youth etc) and some that might be a bit taller than the 60mm ones that I have at the moment.

Couple of pictures of the caves so far. I've got a few more on the go and they will match up with the Nemo's lair ones I have on this thread https://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=129361.180

They look like they could have plenty of uses…just swop in a bit of scatter and you’ve got a rebel base for Nevarro  ;)

Yeah, I’ll be doing a few for there as well  lol

Yes, that’s the idea. Reveal when a cavern is entered and then covered again when left  >:D

Nice looking boards.

By the way, is that Bernard Cribbins in the turban?

Excellent.

Look forward to seeing more of the miniatures you choose, as well.

Fantastic.  Being square with a solid rim should make them easier to store as well.
