Here are two warriors in jaguar skins.
These are not jaguar warrior.

He who wears a corselet is a nobleman (south or north).
The one in full outfit is an elite warrior (north)

Althoug I haven't found any representation of these outfit in the Teenek, by comparison with other "armies" of this time, we know that this type of outfit existed among both Maya (corselet) and the Aztec (full outfit).

So nothing imaginary, just that we weren't there at this time lol

On the nobleman we can see the rattles attached to the loincloth.

For the warrior, we can clearly see that the loincloth goes around the waist on the jaguar outfit (Maya).

Once again, nothing is invented. It all comes from sculptures or "Dibujos de Tamuin".

The rest is the result of cross-checking the memoirs of witnesses from that period and current research. ;)

Here his a jaguar warrior and an eagle warrior. This type of warrior did exist among the Teenek.
Was there an ordre of eagle and jaguar knights like the aztec?
For the moment no trace of these order.
In the eagle warrior we find the back circle fan feather hanging in the loincloth
The helmet feathers are stuck to the back of the skull and vertical.

For the jaguar I should have put the feathers vertically like for the eagle !
Note the feathers attached around the knee.

Good fun

Here are the allies of the Teenek: the Chichimec indians of "sant Louis de Potosi", nothern province Teenek.

Normally Chichimec warriors paint their bodies red but the different testimonies speak exclusively of blue paint
all over their bodies.

Look: shields and bows exclusively. The hair his very long (mine is not long enough) and a headband with 1 or 2 white feathers.
