The yet again New Year’s resolution
« on: January 01, 2024, 01:05:05 PM »
I’ve not picked up a paint brush seriously in a long time, so start on new year, let’s go easy and simple. One figure painted and finished each week.

I want to get moving on modern civil unrest project, and have number of figures waiting to be started. Offensive miniatures camera crew started counts as 1 figure. Same company thug attacking wheelie bin. Ainsty Saint johns lady and Mr Barker. (can’t remember manufacturer came as set of 4 “open all hours” characters.)

Posting here as modern will not be the only figures painted. I’ve decided the town hall needs expanding, Lionel plastic ville school on the wish list. Got some damaged and very poorly painted mini figs ecw Scottish lancers that need refreshing then eBay to raise funds.

This is my goal as well. It probably won't be consistent, but it's about the right pace for me with all the other time-demands I have.

Much as I'd like to set a goal, my job as a teacher is so variable with incredibly busy times to only mildly busy times to "on break," that I kind of go with the flow. When I can paint and build terrain, I do. When I can't, I miss it...  :'(

Good on you to hold yourself accountable, though!
