FUBAR VSF AAR - The Christmas Pudding Factory Incident
« on: January 04, 2024, 12:09:47 PM »
Our FUBAR VSF Christmas game, The Christmas Pudding Factory Incident has been played. Yeah!

Set in 1874 Two Martian Tripod Fighting Machines were pitted against the cream of the British Steam Powered fighting Units!

The Martians were heavily armoured and armed to their rubbery toothless lips with Lasers, Rockets and Black Smoke! Against this the British had Steam Power, Pluck and Courage (what could go wrong!?!)

The fighting was fast and furious, usually I let everyone know the result of our games but sorry this time you'll need to refer to Captain Darling's Blog!

Some pictures to whet your appetite!

Martian Tripods 'Red' and ' Green' on the the Move December 1874!

Artillerymen of the 7th Steam Powered Armoured Detachment zero their Heavy Auto Cannon in on the approaching Martian Tripods!

The situation at the end of Turn Three. The Martians had drawn level with Brunel's bridge and using their Lasers they knocked out an Armoured Wagon on the Human's right flank meanwhile the British Steam Powered Blimps launched their own attack on the Fighting Machines.

Tally Ho Chaps!

The full AAR, OOB and lots of pictures are on Captain Darling's Blog...

Crackin' good tussle!

Of course, damage to art in time of war is a tragedy, but sacrifices must be made.

Sorry, suh, but I don't recall seeing the bomb conveyances before, is there a blog post on construction?

Thanks again!

Doug

Thanks Doug!

The blimps were kits from the now defunct Tobsen77, here my post on them….
