Dabblings in the Shadow Deep
« on: January 10, 2024, 01:49:15 PM »
Hello, We've restarted  our Rangers of Shadow deep campaign, right back at the beginning with the introductory scenarios from the rule book.

We'll have to see if we actually finish the intial campaign without real life getting in the way again.

Here are the two rangers and their starting companions:

And here we are about halfway through the second turn:

Is that a Jedi with a sword?

The guy looks like he means business.

Certainly does.  Very nice table and wonderful models.

Wow such a smooth set of paintjobs and great colours. Your miniatures and board shows you have great taste.

I see Mantic stuff!

How did the first scenario go the first time you played it? We had crossbows, so controlled the board, wiping out the enemies too easily.

Maybe have at least half the number of enemies on the board at the end of a round or something to keep things interesting...

Yeah, it wasn't much of a challenge, but is is the first game of the introductory scenario afterall.

I did play it once where the rangers got into difficulties, but they were really unlucky with the cards and the dice. ::)
