My First 28mm ACW Brigade
« on: January 26, 2024, 09:35:22 PM »
Having been seduced into another wargaming period by a devlishly attractive game put at Partizan by Dave Andrews and David Imrie (how often does that happen I wonder!!), I have finished my first brigade of 4 Confederate regiments. Long way to go but a decent start. You can see more at:

Nice work.
And the glorious general led the advance
With a glorious swish of his sword and his lance
And a glorious clank of his tin-plated pants. - Dr. Seuss

They look really good.

You're in for a real treat when you get your Oshiro buildings. I've played on his tables before and the buildings are amazing!

Very nice. I did 6 per base and now seeing these, wish that I had done 5 for a more irregular look.

Thanks All. Elk101, I have a few already and you are right - they are lovely! Norm. I usually base "fully" particularly for more formal periods like Napoleonic, but it just seemed to work better this way for ACW, practically as well as visually to have 5 figures rather than 6 on a base. It also means you get 6 regiments instead of 5 from 150 figures - wins all round!!
