Nick and the Tyranids
« on: March 09, 2024, 10:29:06 AM »
Since the boys are enjoying Space Hulk immensely, I decided to give 40k a go with them (starting with a simplified version). Since the boys love to battle with “aliens” against “space knights” the Leviathan box was a logical choice. Some of you might remember my take on the Tyranids in that box: https://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=143136.msg1826505#msg1826505

Turns out I need more monsters and aliens. Not sure how well they will fare in game, but I started with a Tervigon and more termagaunts.

Thank you! My aim was simple yet effective colour scheme that was also cool for kids. It all started with some Space Hulk genestealers.

More Big Monsters for the Tyranids. This time I added a Maleceptor for some close combat punch and an exocrine to give me a bit of ranged weapon power. Not sure how they will fare, but the look cool and the boys love the models.
