Bachelor Wars 2024 -- a Modest Colonial Bash

[Mad Guru]

Myself and two friends got together for two days to play three colonial games.  We each GM'ed one game and each of them was different from the others in tone and style, but all were splendid indeed -- at least in my not-so-humble opinion!

None of us are single, so we coined the above name for the event.

Great idea and if Nick follows through and moves up my way closer to his granddaughter, I think we'll have to do similar.  Of course, I'm not nearly as big a fan of TSATF as you guys but I can 'tolerate' them when the company is good. 

So far, I have French Foreign Legion table ready - but not based for TSATF.  I use Rank and File with minimal modifications.  It works. 

Those first picks of terrain look fantastic.

I suppose, even if Nick doesn't move, I can still try and get a gathering that includes him, a shorter trip than down your way.  I have been known to drive down and game with the club down there - last time was a game Nick ran.

I do like how you have lined yourself up to write many more blog posts! Not that I can call you out on this, as despite taking photos of many games this year, I don’t think I’ve managed to write up a single AAR.
