Before I had flu I was planning on a potters workshop.  Still the plan but my mojo has gone a bit so we ill see where this goes.

My daughter is currently at uni for a combined archeology/forensics degree.  Pottery can be a very niche subject.

Cool - it can, but it's also the most widely found archaeological material, so niche is relatively core

Sounds like a very fun project that can be a deep dive into super-detailing.

As today is the start date and I am on leave I decided to get working.  I do not want to exhaust my selection of pottery so I have decided to use beads to help bulk out the stock.  First three things are two rickety drying shelves and the kick powered potters wheel.  Simple card, matchstick and coffee stirrer construction.  The wheel and kick wheel are 1cent euro coins with some miliput to bulk them out.  Hope you like.

I can't claim any expertise in printing.  My printer has a random leveling problem.  Anything over about 3/4 inch shift and then they are knocked over.

Oh yes. My Ender 5 hates prints larger than ~6"x6", corners curl

Thank you all for the kind words.  I was going to post the next couple of bits but have been slammed at work.

Funny enough, after primer and craft paint the lines are rarely noticeable

It took a bit of research and thought to work it out.  For the circular pattern on top I used a larger 3d printed pot as a stamp.  The coils on the underside textured it nicely.
