Mean Streets convention game in a nod to the Warriors
« on: March 08, 2024, 03:20:20 AM »

Two of the "local" gangs, the Daos and the Santanas, square off on Bridge Street

Hi everyone! I put out some of my newly-constructed city terrain for my "Gang Rumble on Friday Night" game at Cincycon 2024 last weekend. The setup featured two players controlling the Eastmoor Kings (aka The Warriors) trying to get from one side edge of the table to the opposite. Four other street gangs wanted to keep them off their turf, while also have their own objectives of larceny or payback on a rival gang.

The Kings jump the Mohawks, but suffer some setbacks in a vicious defense by Gang boss Sid

I had a full table (6 players) and everyone had a blast. Things started out a little rough for the Kings when they jumped the Indianola Mohawks. Gang boss Sid and his main squeeze Maybel put the beat down on a couple members of the Kings before superior numbers began to tell.

My six players getting into the spirit of things and rumbling on the Mean Streets of Columbus!

Read my full report on my Lead Legionaries blog. It was a fun game with lots of action and mayhem on the tabletop. Tons more photos on the blog, as well. Hope you have time to pop over and enjoy the read!

The rumble between the Santanas and Daos raged throughout the game

Ooh, looks like a great game — bridge works quite well as an eye-catcher and goal-post!

Great looking game! :-*
Em dezembro de '81
Botou os ingleses na roda
3 a 0 no Liverpool
Ficou marcado na história
E no Rio não tem outro igual
Só o Flamengo é campeão mundial
E agora seu povo
Pede o mundo de novo

Looks like more than enough folks heeded the call to "come out and play"!  lol  :D
