Great looking game Phil and it sounds hard fought. I suspect that Speckled Jim went into the pot.
Got to kick at the darkness till it bleeds daylight.

Excellent looking game! How well did you feel BA works for WW1?

Lon. Oh yes and the Flanders Pigeon Murderer will be found and duly punished🙂

James. They work reasonably well with the Gajo Games mods, more so than they do for WWII🙂 But really the Great War like the Spanish Civil War needs period specific rules I don't think modifying any WW2 rules really work. I am hopeful that Zero Hour will do that and it would be good if Richard pursued his Great War specific CoC version sometime in the future. Although I enjoy Through the Mud and the Blood immensely, I feel it really needs a person to run it to get the real benefit.

Fly, Speckled Jim, fly! Grand game Phil, you overthink rules sometimes, it's just a game with toys after all.😉

Yes, I too was looking to be "enlightened" as to what the poster thought of it (I was surprised to learn, recently, that Remarque spent almost the entire war as a hospital orderly and merely recorded the musings of patients, rather than publishing his own experiences).

As a dyed in the wool Too Fat Lardies player ("Through the mud and the blood"/CoCking Up Through the mud and the blood") I found it an interesting comparison.

For sure! Glad I wasn’t the only one to make the mistake lol
