Test pieces for terrain for my TWI project
« on: March 13, 2024, 11:57:58 AM »
While I prevaricate over the basing of my 28mm Boot Hill Miniatures for Sharpe Practice I completed these test pieces which would be at home in any dusty and/ or smelly theatre.

Shown here with 28mm Foundry Pirates while the Boot Hill boys await my decision...

And yes Nick. I again. forgot the wash at the base of the walls...

Thanks for looking.

Phil

I wasn't going to mention it ;) :D

Lovely stuff. ;D

What is vexing you over the basing for SP2?

Cheers everyone.

It's more the colour scheme rather than size. I'm going for 2p sized individual bases in sabot bases.

I'm going back to painted and dry brushed sand and stones, after a brief flirtation with Woodland Scenics stuff, to match the basing scheme on the buildings.

They look very nice, it would be good to see them laid out as a village.

I'd match the base for the buildings too, it looks fine for Texas. :)

Thanks Nick - I think I was hoping to avoid having to paint the sand by using the Woodland Scenics stuff but it was awful to use and looked a bit rubbish.
