Kabuki Models female barbarian - Frazetta and barbarian fans rejoice!

So I go to CMON tonight, and they have an announcement that they are carrying Kabuki Models miniatures now. Nicely done miniatures from what I have seen on the forums, but not my subject matter, so I am scrolling past the pics and I see something I have not seen previously - a female Death Dealer! The picture on CMON seems to be of an unfinished green for some reason - so here is the picture from Gael's website I found of the finished sculpt:



Ordered one of course, wanted two (one for me, one to paint for Ebay) but it is a bit pricey...

Not a bad sculpt, but I have to laugh a little. Not that I mind a lass showing a bit of skin but in this case it looks like she's just torn off the arse flap from her armour and is thinking "Damn. No toilet paper. What to do...?"

I kinda like it... I've got a friend who is a Death Dealer nut, and he'd think it's the coolest thing ever.

I might have to get two, too (one for me and one for my buddy!)

The head is also a little bit disproportionate, but hey, it's a nice sculpt. Just that arse sticking out.

The bum bit reminds me of English archers in Henry V's army, walking around northern France with their arses hanging out because they had dysentery, and didn't want to shit their hose when the next delivery came on all sudden-like.


Possibly not the image the sculptor wanted to conjure up, but there you go.

It is a cool sculpt, but I can't help but think the armor will pinch a bit too.  Ouch!

i have to see it painted... the other kabuki ones are great, but painted are 100 times better than raw!
