Normandy in a club
« on: November 20, 2009, 11:18:57 AM »
hi chaps.
We started a normandy 1944 campaign in our club. The main purpose is to prose scenarios (I'm the game master), to be adapted to rules (mass battles, skirmish...). We have no imposed rulesets, so everyone can enjoy the campaign. So far, we use Blitzkrieg (french ruleset) and Blitzkrieg commander. But maybe we'll use Force on Force, since we are convinced by the system.

The first turn, D-Day:

The AAR can be found here (2 battles):

And last week, we played turn 2:

with an AAR from Villers-Bocage:

To follow, battle in the Cotentin.
Hope you enjoy, we sure do

And by the way, the AAR are both in French and English ;)

I'll keep informed everytime there is a new battle for the liberation of France 8)

Practical and good looking table both. Must have been an exciting game.

It does look rather good.  :)

I'd be interested to hear how you got on with 'Force on Force' too. I've read them through, but have yet to play them.

No problem. As soon as we play a game with FoF, I post it ;)

I really like the water meeting the beach, especially the surf. Looks a great game.
