I've already mentioned over on Steve Dean's forum how much I like these. But it's not until I see them posted here with your age alongside, that I remember how young you are. So forgive me for saying so, Stephan, and I don't mean to be patronising, but that just makes them even more superb in my eyes.
The quality of your painting and finishing has incredible style, technique and maturity - a standard which most painters of 20 years experience can't achieve. You have a real talent you should be proud of. Clearly you're the latest in the line of brilliant German painters like the Prof, Admiral Benbow and Mike D McBrice.

Hi,
thank you all very much for all the kind comments on the pictures - i am very glad that you like them. Hope I will finish more in the future... But pssst, I have a painted PAK here, and almost finished ten Fallschirmjägers for the ardennes...

@Captain_Blood: Cheers for the lovely words  :) Thank you, that you compare me with such god-like painters, but there are so many more, which just paint better than me,so I have to learn much more! I also pattern oneself on so many painters (Tom W., witchhunter, Grimm, Antipater, Tellus, Andrew Taylor, Lee Abott .. - the list is endless!), and I riddle them with so many questions - you can ask them, I think they all wish to get me on a ban-list  :D
I always try to improve, on bases and different scales, on highlightning and shading, in colour combinations and different kinds of painting, and so I got better and better, and so I always improve.

I also like to say thank you and cheer for the DocPhobos, who has takken those lovley and hi-quality photos.

Cheers,
Stephan

Great job. Your care for the details make your figures really stand out. Just looking at the way you've done the base design with different colors and details puts my own work to shame...
