Not the biggest figures I have but still good sized. Here they are with a 25mm RAFM hunter figure:

If you want a nice sized figure you can't go wrong with Reaper's Cthulhu! Here he is with a reaper 32mm cultist.

I much prefer this figure to RAFM's metal mini. The Reaper mini is much better detailed, much larger, and about half the cost of the RAFM version.

Looking forward to seeing this. It’s a great model, Fenris also have one about the same size I believe. Have to pick up one of those leng spiders at some point as well

Thank you for the size info! I am thinking in 1/35, my Cthulhu (waiting to be painted) is from a board game, 11 cm, in this scale a bit more than 2 times the size of a human figure. No point to make him bigger as he is just an avatar/spawn anyways, the great Cthulhu himself is so gigantic that he is not for a wargame table, regular folks stand no chance regardless of weapons or battle tactics.

That particular Cthulhu was the first one I had. It got claimed by 1 of my daughters. I bought a second figure and it disappeared into a son's collection. I have a third figure still unassembled so no one sees it. Maybe I will get to play with this one.

The Leng Spider was actually quite cool. It did have a lot of thin mold seams on all the legs. I saw a photo of one painted purple and decided to use that color. I have not read the actual story with the spider in it. So not sure what color it is supposed to be.

Afraid 1/35 scale is strictly tanks for me. I don't do a lot of true kitbashing or any scratch building any more. I just don't have time for it any more.

Yes, the "best scale" is absolutely subjective, I already had a pretty big 1/35 collection when I got my first 28mm figure so I kept 1/35 for 1900+ themes. Others have other considerations.
Nice tank btw!

Here is a good indicator that the investigators arrived just a bit late to the party:

I finally finished it... the new, and now out-of-production, RAFM Servitor of the Outer Gods

The figure is great! It is nicely cast with only a slight bit of mold shift. The detail is awesome. And it is much bigger than the original figure. But I am not certain I like it as much. The new figure is more monster and less alien looking in my opinion.

Lots of great looking miniatures. Your paint jobs serve them really well. I especially like the way you are painting the red eyes on some of them.
